Activities Abroad specializes in genuine multi-activity holidays in beautiful, unspoilt locations. They operate trips to mainland Greece, Spain, The south of France and Turkey’s Mediterranean Coast with a dedicated and different multi-activity itinerary at each location. On any day, you could be kayaking, horse-riding, windsurfing, canyoning, mountain-biking, trekking, scuba diving, kite surfing, white-water rafting and more. Follow this with a relaxing dip in the sea, dinner at a fantastic restaurant and plenty of local wine and you begin to get the picture.

"The philosophy came from our experience in retail, where hundreds of people nationally told us they wanted to do a multi-activity trip, and we couldn’t always find what they wanted" explains founder Barry Nolan. "We aim to plug that gap".

Activities Abroad’s holidays contribute to regional tourism without ruining traditional character by using locally owned hotels, restaurants and activity suppliers. There are several types of trip available and women will feel safe, but not oppressed, in the friendly, small group atmosphere. Group trips cater for individuals, friends travelling together and couples. Family weeks are just as the name implies and there are even holidays for single-parent families, a market which has been poorly served in the past.

A tailor-made corporate service is also available offering everything from team building challenge weekends to conference and seminar facilities. However, it is never all work and no play and the activities will stop your mind straying back to the office.

Activities Abroad try to avoid imposing single supplements. Accommodation is organised on a “prepared to share” basis and in most cases single travellers will find themselves sharing a room with someone of the same gender. Travellers will even be able to contact each other before departure by visiting the Contacts Page on the company’s website at www.activitiesabroad.com

Prices start from under £400 per week and, with the emphasis on flexibility, travellers can book flights or ferry crossings through Activities Abroad or source their own.

Activities Abroad is a Travel Trust Association Member No. R8502
